We are an inclusive faith community that seeks to live the Word and Way of Christ's unconditional love. This means that, like Christ, we believe each person is a beloved child of God.  We give thanks to God for the unique identities with which we are created, and have found here a fellowship of believers that accepts us just as we are.  Come join with us in one of our ministries and enjoy full participation in all aspects of our lives together in our church.

In this community of life-long learners, Faith Formation is something we believe to be a part of everything we do!  Emmanuel's ministry of Faith Formation intentionally spans every age and stage of life, seeking to provide resources and companionship on the faith journey for every believer in our midst.  Faith Formation ministries are offered for children (Sunday School & Vacation Bible School), youth (Confirmation classes), adults (Bible studies & small groups) and families (meal-based family groups & Milestone Ministries). Click to read

The Care and Nurture provides ongoing visitation ministry for all members and families in need of special care.  They visit members who are confined to their home due to illness or hospitalized; aging or whose handicap limits or prevents their attendance at worship or other fellowship within the Emmanuel community.

The purpose of the Communication Ministry is to effectively communicate the mission objectives to all members by means of any media and/or method possible.  This will enhance their understanding of the significance of their participation commitment in Congregational ministries and programs.

This ministry team's function is to work closely with the Church Council to ensure that Emmanuel has an effective and active Stewardship program. One of our stewardship partners is the Mission Investment Fund (http:\\mif.elca.org).

The Worship and Music Ministry assists the Congregation Council in close partnership with the Pastor and staff to ensure the worship services are conducted regularly, in accordance with Lutheran Confessions and the liturgical practices of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  This will be done so that all who attend are invited to celebrate God's gifts of grace in the ministry of word and sacrament as empowered by the living presence of Christ's own Spirit.
