We are an inclusive faith community that seeks to live the Word and Way of Christ's unconditional love.  This means that, like Christ, we believe each person is a beloved child of God.  We give thanks to God for the unique identities with which we are created, and have found here a fellowship of believers that accepts us just as we are.

Come Worship with us and enjoy full participation in all aspects of our lives together.

Emmanuel's first service was held September 23, 1990, at the Sunrise Funeral home in Prescott Valley. For the first 10 months, we were a satellite operation out of American Lutheran Church in Prescott. During that time, pastoral leadership was provided by Rev. Myrus Knutson (seven months) and Rev. Don Fischer (three months).
In July 1991, the ELCA Division for Outreach placed Rev. Dan Kilts as full-time Mission Developer. A charter was opened and over the next 12 months, 110 individuals signed the charter. Emmanuel officially chartered as a congregation on September 20, 1992.
In 1992, the ELCA Mission Investment Fund purchased nearly four acres of land on the corner of Loos and Long Look from the Fain Group. Emmanuel was encouraged to begin the process of purchasing the land from the ELCA in 1994. Emmanuel's first building committee was established in January 1996 and $105,000 was raised in May of that year to secure ownership of that land.
Finally after 12 years, Emmanuel Lutheran broke ground on that land and begun building a new facility to worship in. Emmanuel held its first worship service in the new facility on March 2, 2003.

• We believe there is one true God, revealed in three persons
 (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
• We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ
• We believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God
• We believe that we were created in the image of God, and
though originally good, willingly fell to sin
• We believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a sin-free life,
and died on a cross for our sins
• We believe that Christ rose from the dead and is now seated
 in Heaven with the Father
• We believe that we can have restored fellowship with God
through the forgiveness of our sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ
 as our Lord and Savior
• We believe our salvation is a gift of God's grace and
not because of anything we do
• We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day and
 usher in a new kingdom

Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ.  Through worship, service, and education, the ELCA practices our faith, grow their relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives.  We also work hard to put our faith into action.
